The Office of Computer Science has teamed up with DePaul University to offer a one (1) day virtual workshop where you will be provided an opportunity to learn how security engineers explore networks and systems.
The first half of the day you will learn about the different Operating Systems that live on the internet. You will learn how to navigate and configure these systems. During the second half of the day you will engage in a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition with the rest of the participants where you will apply what you learned earlier in the day.
Both students and teachers are encouraged to complete the form below to apply. Completion of an introductory computer science course (e.g. Exploring Computer Science course or equivalent) is preferred. A computer and internet access is also required as this event will be conducted online.
The Event will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 9am – 3pm. Space is limited so apply now, the application closes this weekend.
